One to One, Personalised Dog Training

We’re all busy and many of us find that - despite our good intentions - life just gets in the way.

If you’re overwhelmed with your new puppy, or adolescent dog, or finding it difficult to fit training into your busy schedule, let me help.

One To One Dog Training North London

The benefits of 1:1 dog training

I will come to your home and work with you to immediately trouble-shoot any issues you may be experiencing.

Then, I’ll create a training plan to help you get the most from your dog (or puppy). Once we’ve put the foundation blocks in place, we can then take our training outside, getting together for sessions as frequently or infrequently as you like.

How 1:1 dog training works

1-2-1 training is flexible: It can be uniquely personalised to support you with whatever issues you're having.

Whether your dog's recall has gone awry, you've had enough of being pulled down the street and you’d like to work on lead walking, or you'd like to prepare for the arrival of a new member of the family (or something else entirely!), I'm here for you.

  • As first-time dog owners, we were really in the dark with our new puppy, Georgie. We can say, absolutely without condition, that Jane was marvellous. Over half a dozen sessions, she explained clearly and logically how we should guide Georgie’s behaviour, always stressing positive reinforcement and helping us see things from our dog’s point of view. Jane was brilliant and we can’t recommend her highly enough.

What People Are Saying

“We got an immense amount out of our sessions with Jane. She’s very clear in her instructions and also in making the logic behind her approach understandable. Our dog enjoyed every minute of the sessions, too. We always felt buoyed up after an hour with Jane and our Welsh Terrier only becomes more of a joy as we use Jane’s methods.”

North London Dog Training Testimonial

“Jane has been consistent, kind and reliable and has given me a clear and concise program, both during our one on one sessions and then followed up afterwards with thorough and personalised emails that helped so much to remind me of the many things we learned each session. You evidently care very much about what you do.”

North London Dog Training Testimonial

“Jane gave me the confidence with our dog, Wheeto. As a disabled owner, I was really struggling to see how I could cope with our dog and how he could cope with me. I am so happy and confident that Wheeto is happy with me and that he can have fun and we can enjoy each other’s company. I really would recommend Jane, she has changed our lives.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Work and family commitments can make it difficult to commit to a regular training class. Whether you’re starting from scratch or advancing your skills, in-person training gives us the opportunity to be flexible with our training, take a unique look at your dog and your situation, then tailor the training to you and your puppy or older dog.

  • Not all dogs and puppies feel comfortable in a class situation and the distractions can increase stress levels (at both ends of the lead) which then affect our ability to learn. 1-2-1 training allows for a more informative, focused and personal, breed-specific approach. Additionally, we can go at your pace and that of your dog or new puppy.

  • Not all dogs feel safe when strangers come into their home. Online training alleviates that stress.

  • We always want learning to be as stress-free as possible. Beginning our training journey together in the park, would be like taking your first driving lesson on the M1.

Whatever the problem, I can help you train your dog.
